Tours” Reviewed July 30, 2012NEW As part of a corporate meeting and retirement celebration, our Chairman's wife arranged a ladies' social event which included lunch at a trendy Laguna Beach restaurant, followed by a tour of the Sawdust Art Festival. We engaged Certified Tourism Ambassador and Owner of Laguna Beach Art Tours Dolores Colin to plan the tour. She joined us for lunch, then led the group of twenty on a gentle walk through the picturesque town to the Sawdust Art Festival - sharing points of interest and information along the way. Once inside the Festival grounds, we were joined by her assistant, and she and Dolores introduced the attendees to several artists, including painters, glass blowers, jewelry designers, etc. We were encouraged to explore the booths and ask questions, and many of us made purchases. It was a first-class afternoon, and we got to experience a Laguna tradition in a casual manner with help and direction from the tour guides.
